William Rast movie trailers

This is an interesting way of doing advertising. William Rast is a Jean line by Justin Timberlake. On the home site for William Rast they have little move trailers of these characters wearing the clothing. The trailers are completely random and I'm not really sure of their relevance to the clothes...maybe the characters are supposed to reach out to certain comsumers....

"Every bird should get to fly"

This advertisement for the Washington Lottery is awesome. It has just an overall happy good feeling and made you think that everyone is special and deserves to have a chance.

Axe will fix you up

"Axe will fix you up" no matter how messy your night was. Well let's hope so for the party animals that this commerical is targeted towards.
I found the offical commercial seen on t.v. and the uncut version. It's really interesting to compare the two and see what was cut out and what was kept.

SNUS smush

When I first saw this ad I was like what the heck is SNUS? It looked like a gum advertisement. And then I saw the Camel and I was even more confused. And then I saw the "WARNING: This product may cause mouth cancer" and I kinda giggled to myself. How can you advertise something and then have to put that on there. But anyways, this is the definition of SNUS:

According to Wikipedia, snus (pronounced snoose) is:
…a moist powder tobacco product that is consumed by placing it under the upper lip for extended periods of time. It is a form of snuff that is used in a manner similar to American dipping tobacco, but typically does not result in the need for spitting…The sale of snus is illegal in the European Union, but due to an exemption in Sweden. It is still manufactured and consumed primarily in Sweden and Norway.

Very interesting. I guess since smoking is out chewing is in? hmmm...YUCK.

This is a cute advertisement. Reminded me of those mini Pixar movies. Cute and light. And who doesn't love penguins!

Gilly Hicks

I recently just found this new underwear store called Gilly Hicks that belongs under the same company as Abercombie and Fitch. I was amazed at the layout of the store...you walk in and feel like your in a whole different world of bras and panties. It's kind of a maze of room after room that you have to walk through to get to the end of the store where the register is. Then as your waling out you have to walk back through all the rooms where I almost stopped two or three more times to look at things even after I had already bought something. Pretty sneaky idea of making you want to buy more.
