Pepsi Max

Pepsi had taken a different angle on the diet soda spectrum. I was listening to the radio this morning and a commercial for Pepsi Max came on. I thought it was hilarious but couldn't find it on the internet. I found the tv commercial though...



The radio commercial described Pepsi Max as the many version of diet soda where Diet Coke is the womanly version. There was a line that went along the lines of "is buying diet coke right up there with buying your girl friends maxi pads". Pepsi Max definitley knows who their target market is.

Dove ads


I really enjoy the Dove ads. They are doing a self-esteem campaign where their ads show real women. This is a great target market strategy reaching to the real women of the world. Their ads show full curved to petite women to women in their twenties to women in their sixties. The ads have captions that say things such as "never too old to be in an magazine ad" or "i like me real body". When I read them I walk away with a little more confidence and have Dove on my mind. Perfect.

I thought these were some very unique ads and a good way to get people to really look at the billboard. If I were walking or driving down the street these would definitley catch my eye.

I dont know why, but I thought this commercial was really funny. All the smacking from the llama and the happy smiley guy really made me want to go get some Starbursts. Llamas are funny!
